Longshan Temple of Wanhua, Taipei

Monga Longshan Temple was built in 1738, early 20 century and listed as a national monument. It was remodeled by craftsman Yishun Wang from Quanzhou and used to be the meeting place for the businessmen of Jin-Jiang, Nan-An and Hui-An. There is a standing statue of Sakya-Muni by the famous sculptor Tu-Shui Huang in the main hall of the temple. It is now the largest temple in northern Taiwan. Spring 2008 by Ming-Xian Jiang
