Getting Fortune

2006 marked a year of great breakthroughs in CHUNG’s artistic creations and career. Years of hard work spent creating prints and promoting art finally culminated in the establishment of the sole printmaking institute in the nation. In the season of red maple, various emotions, revelations, and feelings of gratitude began to naturally emerge, akin to the circles in this piece. This work combines the techniques of silkscreen printing and intaglio to deftly portray the idea of endless good luck through brushstrokes.
